Day 7 - Saturday, July 1, 2000

I can't remember the exact sequence of events on Saturday, but at some point during the day, we had cleared out of the boat and said our goodbyes to Robert and Roger.  Sean, Ginger, Scott, and I decided to drop by the Dam Visitors Center and take the dam tour before hitting the road back to Utah.  Glen Canyon Dam, which is only about 80% as tall as Hoover Dam and about half as thick, is nonetheless a spectacular structure.  Unfortunately, the dam guide wouldn't let me bring my camera bag on the dam tour, so I wasn't able to get any dam pictures from anywhere except the dam observation deck.

We drove back to St. George that evening and had dinner with Scott before he had to head back to Fillmore.
