Day 6 (Friday, 9/3/2004)

Snow!  We peered out the cabin door to find ourselves in an instant winter wonderland-- in the middle of summer!  The snow wasn't sticking at the lower elevations, but it was coming down with extreme prejudice.  Jen had decided the night before that she enjoyed Denali enough to go back for another dose.  As often occurs after the first snowfall, the wildlife in the park were a bit disoriented and thus were out and about, venturing much closer to the bus than they had the day before.
